We are your one source for comprehensive cancer treatment

At New Jersey Cancer Care and Blood Disorders, our experienced  medical professionals are experts in the development and implementation of treatment strategies customized to meet the needs of each individual patient. Everything we do is focused on improving our patients’ quality of life before, during, and after treatment. This means that every employee in every department, whether it’s billing, scheduling, or any of our medical specialties, quickly responds to each patient’s specific needs.

Your experience with cancer is as unique as you are.  This means that no two patients react exactly the same way to treatment. So our experts take a multidisciplinary approach with various specialties working in concert to monitor results and maximize the effectiveness of treatment. Our clinical teams evaluate the latest advances and proven therapies while carefully considering your medical history, current health, and the risks and benefits of each option. We also listen carefully to your concerns, needs, and goals, and educate you about your choices and what to expect during the treatment process.

No matter what type of cancer diagnosis you have, our team is ready with effective treatment solutions. Our physicians and medical staff are highly experienced in treating virtually every type of cancer and we offer a full array of services including:

Diagnostic Testing

Most diagnostic tests are safe and painless – and provide our physicians with accurate insight into your condition.

  • X-rays
  • Ultrasound
  • CT scans
  • PET scans
  • DEXA scans
  • MRI scans
  • Genetic testing
  • Bone marrow biopsy

Many diagnostic tests can be performed on-site at our offices or a nearby medical center

On-Site Chemotherapy

Our team will treat you like family, and you are always welcome to bring a friend or family member with you during your treatments to ensure that you are as comfortable as possible during your time with us.

Together, we’ll work to give you a positive and successful experience.

We have a spacious and comfortable chemotherapy infusion suite at each of our offices.

Radiation Therapy

Our physicians direct and work closely with the radiation oncology teams at the area’s most prestigious medical centers. So you’ll receive the most advanced and effective therapy available in a safe and comfortable setting.

And our oncology team will coordinate the details of your care so that you can focus on your treatment and your health.

Hormone Therapy

The physicians at New Jersey Cancer Care and Blood Disorders have a wealth of expertise in hormone therapy. With this type of cancer treatment medications are taken orally, instead of being administered by IV.

Regular office visits ensure your doctor can monitor your progress and help you manage any side effects or other issues.

Hormone therapy keeps certain types of cancer cells from getting and using the hormones they need to grow.

Stem Cell Transplant Services

A stem cell transplant replaces a person’s damaged stem cells with healthy ones. High doses of chemotherapy and/or radiation destroy cancer cells. A stem cell transplant is used to replace healthy cells that were destroyed in the process.

We work with the best transplant centers in New Jersey and coordinate the details of your comprehensive care.

We offer a highly effective stem cell therapy program in partnership with renowned local medical centers.

Targeted Therapy

The key advantage of this innovative type of treatment is that these medications “target” and destroy cancer cells without damaging healthy cells. Many targeted therapies have been approved by the FDA for treatment of specific types of cancer—alone and in combination with other treatments. For more information about targeted cancer therapies, visit the National Cancer Institute website.

Our team uses targeted therapies to help patients fight certain types of cancer without damaging healthy cells.

On-Site Pharmacy

Our pharmacists are experts in cancer drug therapies, and work closely with our physicians to ensure that you receive your medications quickly, and with the personalized instruction and support and you need. You’ll have convenient access to cancer and pain medications that are often hard to find elsewhere. Most medications are in stock and can be obtained the day of your office visit.

Our convenient on-site pharmacy service helps ensure that you receive your medications quickly

Clinical Trials

Clinical trials are part of our leading-edge cancer care and are the best way for our doctors to learn about more effective treatments for various types of cancer. Clinical trials are the foundation for new breakthroughs and are designed to find better ways to prevent, diagnose, or treat cancer. We offer patients the opportunity to participate in clinical trials when appropriate. Click here to learn more.

Our physicians are involved in many emerging breakthrough cancer therapies.

Nutritional Counseling

Nutrition is an important part of life, cancer treatment, recovery, and prevention. We are here to help you make informed choices about nutrition, answer your nutrition-related questions, and help you to achieve and maintain good health. Our goal is to minimize weight changes so you can heal properly, and maintain the energy to cope with all the new challenges your treatment might bring.

We offer Nutritional Counseling to help patients maintain a healthy body weight and a proper diet.

Psychological Support

A cancer diagnosis can have a huge impact on most patients. At different times during treatment and recovery, people with cancer may be fearful and anxious.

We offer patients the social and emotional support they need to ease their anxiety and depression.

Counseling can often reduce suffering, confusion, and stress that come after a cancer diagnosis.

Treating patients also includes easing the distress and anxiety that often comes with a life changing diagnosis.

Oncology Care Model is designed to provide coordinated cancer care, access to resources, and clinical trials that may offer cutting-edge therapy not available elsewhere. Watch the video provided to learn more about OCM.
